Description:
On 80 acres nestled in an idyllic valley in McMinnville, the Butler Family nurtures a small herd of 100% grass-fed Angus cattle and pasture raised chickens for eggs and meat. We never use antibiotics or growth hormones on our animals. We actively manage our pastures through intensive rotational grazing with NO GMOs, NO herbicides, NO pesticides, and NO synthetics. We harvest our own haylage to ensure the highest quality feed. We purposely limit our herd size so we can sustainably feed our cattle exclusively from our own pastures.
Production Practices:
Organically raised forage, rotational grazing, all cattle feed is produced by us on the farm, 100% grass-fed, on farm slaughter, and antibiotic free.

Grazing, Pasture and Nutrient Management Practices:
Chickens are always on pasture. Cattle are always given access to pasture and to shelter during inclement weather. Cattle use intensive rotational grazing. Cattle are finished on farm with no grain. Except for our own manure, lime and boron, we don’t spread anything else on our pastures. We use the chickens to help with the insects. We use no chemicals of any kind. We compost the bedding and manure from our loafing shed and spread it back to our fields.
Environmental Conservation:
We are restoring hedge rows and have fenced off the creek and riparian areas from cattle access.
