December 13th: Silent Auction and Celebration!
Not Your Usual InFARMation (And Beer!)
Things are really coming together nicely for our end of the year celebration and fundraiser. We have been busy securing donations and entertainment for an evening that is sure to be grand! And, bring the family. This event is open to ALL AGES! Unlike InFARMations in the past, there will be no formal panel discussion. Instead we are having a party to celebrate an amazing year of success for family farmers and ranchers and to gather financial support for FoFF’s programs and campaigns. The silent auction filled with impressive items is the main event and there will be music all night long!
Speaking of music, FoFF is super excited to add Portland’s own Sassparilla Jug Band into the mix. Additionally, Mike Midlo of Pancake Breakfast, Dean Claeys of Jamalia and local farmer/musician, Nathan McFall of Converging Creeks and Food Waves will be in the house lending a heartfelt vibe to the night. As the music plays, you will be able to browse auction item, place bids, stomp your feet, sip a cocktail, make new friends and catch up with old ones. All this, plus supporting the work of FoFF. It’s a win-win situation.

You’ll want to bid on many of the irresistible packages like the “Johnny Appleseeds” (fruit tree pruning tools and seed packets), the “Paul Bunyan” (1/2 cord firewood and a men’s Patagonia Hoody), or the “Fresh From the Farm” (a $100 CSA gift certificate and a pastured chicken). Or bid on a catered dinner for six in your home, a pig butchery class, a pony camp for your child or a three day Romantic Get-A-Way in a Yachats cabin! - 6:30 – 8:00 Silent Auction
- 8:00 – 8:15 Awards!
- 8:15ish – 10:15ish Sassparilla Jug Band
We are now able to process credit cards so you may pay for the items you win with credit, check or cash. Check out will begin at 8:30 pm.
